Tatoo Excision is a great option for some. Again, you do need to see a doctor, and it will not be covered by your insurance. It works for small tatoos, and can get very involved for larger ones, if a doctor would do it at all. It may be more expensive than laser as it is a more involved procedure, and there could be more complications.
It works by cutting off your tatoo, and pulling the skin together to cover it up. So, tatoo excision is just cutting off a tatoo completely, so it may be a great option to completely do away with it. With many other options, you may always see some of the remains of the tatoo, this does away with it. You may experience some scarring, so where the tatoo is does matter. It would be best to talk to your doctor and see if this is even an option for you.
