Tatoo Excision May be an Option!

Tatoo Excision is a great option for some. Again, you do need to see a doctor, and it will not be covered by your insurance. It works for small tatoos, and can get very involved for larger ones, if a doctor would do it at all. It may be more expensive than laser as it is a more involved procedure, and there could be more complications.

It works by cutting off your tatoo, and pulling the skin together to cover it up. So, tatoo excision is just cutting off a tatoo completely, so it may be a great option to completely do away with it. With many other options, you may always see some of the remains of the tatoo, this does away with it. You may experience some scarring, so where the tatoo is does matter. It would be best to talk to your doctor and see if this is even an option for you.

Laser Tatoo Removal!

Next up, Laser Tatoo Removal. Laser tatoo removal is performed as an outpatient procedure in a doctors office. You will need to pay for the procedure, insurance will not cover it. Is there any pain involved, well, hate to say it, but yes! I would liken it to being stabbed with a needle, kind of like getting the tatoo in the first place.

Lasers work by breaking up the pigment colors of the tattoo with a high-intensity beam of light. The good news if you have a dark tattoo, black tattoo pigment absorbs all laser wavelengths, which makes it the easiest to treat. But all colors absorb some light, your doctor will make the best decisions for treatment with laser tattoo removal.

Normally, laser tatoo removal requires 3-6 visits, can can cost $600-$1200 to complete a treatment. Call around, in small towns, you may pay less. Only you can decide if your willing to share that old tatoo with a doctor!

Tatoo Removal Options!

What are your Tatoo Removal Options? Well, it depends on how much you want to spend. Lets start with tatoo fading. Tatoo fading would be the cheapest tatoo removal option and it gives you the chance to take care of it at home.

Tatoo Fading works by having an effect on your layers of skin. The lotion goes into the top epidermis layer and makes it peel away. This exposes the next layer, the dermis, where your tatoo actually is. Your body then goes to work healing the top skin layer and a scab is formed, which makes part of the tattoo level push away. So, as with all tatoo removal options, some discomfort is involved.

This pulling away will cause some of that unwanted tatoo to lighten up or extract as the scab falls off. Obviously, the capability of a tatoo fading lotion will have many factors, including how your tatoo was applied into the dermis layer when you got it. The more expert the job, the better. That is your first tatoo removal option, but you need to know how much it cost. On average, tatoo fading costs about $80 for a months supply, expect to treat for up to 6 months.
